| For the smaller operator the company has developed the Light Industrial & Economy ranges of totally enclosed units, for either gravity feed or pumped operation
The Economy bunded tank, designed for operation with a pump, is available in capacities of up to 145,000 litres and as single or double compartment units. This is a fully welded, fixed roof design incorporating a single plate which forms the tank roof and extends over the bund to achieve enclosure. As the inner tank is welded within the bund the scope for maintenance of internal areas is restricted.
The Economy design is acceptable within EA recommendations, where it is classified as ‘partially enclosed’ – thus offering a high integrity alternative at a budget price.
In this format the tank simply requires offloading onto a suitable plinth and the provision of mains power to be operational.
