Ledbury Welding & Engineering licensed manufactuers of the 4hr fire rated & multi hazzard accredited Supervault were selected to supply these tanks as part of Southern Water's capital scheme for nitrate removal. Five sites were selected for methanol (a bacteria nutrient source) for the dosing process which therefore required bulk storage. Methanol with similar characteristics to petrol needed a proven above ground environmentally acceptable storage solution. The Supervault answered this challenge easily with its unique performance specification, 100% safety record and with the added bonus of reduced civils works by eleiminating the requirement of a bund.
