LWE was selected to enhance the refuelling infrastructure at a new Tesco distribution centre by supplying and installing two 150,000-litre bulk fuel storage tanks.
As the UK’s largest retailer, Tesco depends on a robust logistics network to ensure smooth and efficient delivery operations. The goal of this project was to implement an advanced, reliable fuel storage system capable of supporting the demands of its growing distribution fleet.
In addition to increasing on-site fuel storage capacity, the solution would play a vital role in improving fuel supply resilience and strengthening Tesco’s wider supply chain operations.
LWE designed, manufactured and installed two 150,000-litre above-ground fuel storage tanks. To fulfil this project’s requirements, we engineered each tank to meet strict industry regulations and safety standards while ensuring secure and efficient fuel management operations.
