Project Overview

The United States Air Force (USAF) required a critical upgrade to the fuel storage infrastructure at one of its bases. Ensuring these refuelling operations met the latest regulatory standards, the USAF commissioned LWE for the project.

As one of the world’s most demanding defence organisations, the USAF requires strict adherence to performance, safety, and environmental compliance. The goal of this project was to provide a high-specification fuel storage solution capable of supporting safety-critical refuelling operations.

The project involved designing, manufacturing and delivering three UL2085 and UL142 above-ground fuel storage tanks. As standard, we engineered each tank to enhance safety, provide environmental protection, and improve the overall operational efficiency on-site.

Solution 

LWE designed, engineered, and manufactured three high-specification UL2085 and UL142 above-ground fuel storage tanks. Each tank was purpose-built to enhance safety, fuel integrity, and operational resilience in high-security defence environments.
